        Verdict

        Cantique is a token selection in a wide open seller, Jost Van Dyke and Madam Gaffer are just two of many dangers. Ralph Becket's charge takes a big drop in class having contested two very strong nurseries. She only went down by three lengths last time behind Spinning Coin and a repeat of that effort could be good enough today. Madam Gaffer's best recent effort came here over the six furlong trip when a close up third behind Social Rhythm. The extra distance shouldn't be a problem and she will be hard to keep out of the frame. Jost Van Dyke is one of the more consistent runners in the line up and does at least boasts a victory. Meanwhile Prima Luna is open to improvement having had just two runs to date. It is a race to very cautious but we do give Cantique a very good chance and she gets our vote.
