Verdict
Pan American, Gramercy and Notte Di Note are amongst those to have shown ability but preference is for MINT WHIP. The selection shaped well a fortnight ago when running on from off the pace to finish in midfield in a Leicester maiden that was won by a promising sort. He was under 4 lengths off the winner on that occasion and he can be expected to build on that performance this afternoon. That said Gramercy failed to build on a promising debut over course and distance but more use was made of him over a longer trip and it could be that a return to more patient tactics over this shorter trip could see him return a better performance. Pan American has been done no favours by the draw but has shown up well on all three starts and should give another good account whilst Notte Di Note may have more to offer although she has ground to make up on Goddess Of Light. Kingsgate Choice needs to be monitored in the market as he makes his debut but the vote is awarded to Mint Whip.
