      Verdict

TEWIN WOOD's first foray into handicap company can be a successful one although there are plenty to consider in a competitive race with La Pantera and Gobama amongst them. Alan Bailey's horses are running well at present and his gelding looks to have been let in lightly for his handicap bow following two highly encouraging runs in maidens. He didn't prove suited by the drop back to six at Yarmouth last time but still finished within hailing distance of a Stoute hotpot and is fancied to open his account. La Pantera also shapes as though she'll be suited by stepping up in trip having been readily outpaced in nurseries over six the last twice. Stablemate Master Of Dance is not without claims but of more appeal is Gobama who stayed on from off the pace at Catterick to be beaten just 2 lengths but she may need a positive ride over this distance. Dream Number is 5lbs higher than when winning at Leicester and looks to be progressing along the right lines but she could struggle to contain Tewin Wood.
