In depth

Verdict

Rated 86, LEGAL HISTORY is proving hard to win with but should go close back in novice company today. He has the edge over Podemos on these terms and the latter faded badly in the closing stages of a handicap at Haydock last time. Jaquar was still beaten 12 lengths when second at Leicester and Harawi can only improve on a poor debut effort at Newbury while the Godolphin newcomer Dress Coat looks nothing special on breeding.
