Verdict
First-time blinkers had the desired effect when LEXINGTON EMPIRE (NAP) returned an easy winner over course and distance. The headgear remains in place and David Lanigan’s charge is preferred to last week’s winner at Ffos Las, Sicario. The latter should go well again but Power Home may prove a bigger threat having finished runner-up at Chepstow on his belated seasonal debut. Beatbybeatbybeat is usually thereabouts without winning while Servo’s earlier double came over shorter trips and he was well beaten over 1m2f on his latest start.
