This looks to be a good opportunity for Perfect Night to finally break her maiden tag, after plenty of consistent efforts that have mainly been over further than this. However, last time out Roger Charlton dropped her back to this trip and she came as close as she has for some time, before finding no extra. A reproduction of that effort on her first fibresand outing would be comfortably good enough to land this moderate contest. Danger Bird, Zagala and Shamwari Fire all look to have place claims, and there is little to choose between them. The former has some decent course form to his name and gets this trip well, so from stall 10 he can certainly go well for each way backers. Meanwhile, Zagala does not seem to have decided what is her best trip as yet, and although not disgraced in defeat, she needs to show us more before she becomes a backable proposition, while Shamwari Fire is stepped up in grade here but drops in trip at the same time. Another whose recent form is nothing special he has plenty to prove as he comes into this contest, and our confident vote remains with Perfect Night.
