      Verdict

      Bookiesindex Boy holds very solid claims here and is selected ahead of Yungaburra. Rated eleven pounds better than his nearest rivals in this contest, won his maiden here over course and distance last time and, in truth, it is not hard to build the case for him today. Yungaburra rates as an obvious danger following his battling course and distance success, his first run for his new trainer, but Hereford Boy's improvement last time came on good to soft going so he might have to settle for third as the other two runners have yet to show much. Once again, the vote goes to Bookiesindex Boy.
