        Verdict

        In this maiden, Soul Blazer is selected ahead of War Of The Roses and Emirates First. Soul Blazer's Lingfield debut fourth to Reelin n' Rocking looks pretty good in the way of form for this contest, particularly given that he ought to appreciate today's longer trip, and he can go well. A son of Singspiel, War Of The Roses cost 40,000 guineas and has to be of interest on his debut, while Daneway is very much one to have a look at from the yard of Henry Cecil. Emirates First is an obvious player based on her debut second over course and distance, and Fringe showed very good promise for the future when third on her racecourse debut, although that came on soft going. All of which returns us to the selection, which is Soul Blazer.
