Noble Lady must take all the beating here and is expected to defy an absence to overcome Monte Mayor Lad, with Cape St Vincent a candidate for the frame. Noble Lady looked one to follow when making an encouraging debut here over five furlongs in December. After missing the break, she picked up nicely near the finish and stayed well without being given a hard time. She was kept to the minimum for her only subsequent outing on the Lingfield Polytrack in January, and was only beaten half a length by the favourite that day, Roman Quintet. Given a break since, Sir Mark Prescott's filly now gets the trip she needs and should prove hard to beat. Monte Mayor Lad is more race-fit but will need to be ridden with more restraint than he was in handicap company here a fortnight ago. However, he is sure to go well, while Cape St Vincent makes a quick reappearance after being taken off his feet on his Warwick debut. He is drawn stall one and if able to break well and hold position on the far rail, may just hold on to a place, without being good enough to contain Noble Lady.
