Verdict

VIRILE's recent good form has been at Brighton but he was successful here in August under Mitch Godwin and looks the most likely winner today. Last Star Falling beat Waneen and Swiss Cross at Chelmsford last month but is 6lb higher. Waneen has since finished second again at Kempton and should be thereabouts again while Beverley runner-up Socialites Red can race off a lower mark on the all-weather, though only has a strike-rate of 1-18. Intense Starlet recorded back-to-back victories at Newcastle last month but was only fifth off this mark last time.
