Verdict

A desperate affair can go to MISU PETE, who won twice over course and distance in March. He produced a better effort last time at Kempton and is now a pound lower than his last winning mark not taking into account Lulu Stanford's claim. Free To Roam won here in April and followed up at Brighton but hasn't raced since the end of May. Great Expectations has only won once on the all-weather and that was on Fibresand so he's worth opposing but Beverley Bullet could go close on the pick of his form on Turf and blinkers might sharpen up Synodic. Sober Up looks the pick of the remainder.
