Verdict
Not much worthwhile form so the vote goes to a newcomer; LOCKANTANKS is selected ahead of Flaxen Lake and Starlight Muse. Mick Channon's son of Compton Place looks to have been found a nice opening and with the yard going strong any market support would be encouraging. His dam is from the family of Lochsong and this half-brother to Credit Swap looks the place to start. Of those to have raced Flaxen Lake holds the best form but this 68-rated fellow looks exposed and modest enough. Little Weed has been given a break since a disappointing first effort, French Wind remains capable of better, whilst Gemma's Delight shaped with a degree of promise on her UK debut last time out at the track. Slikback Jack represents a yard in good form, Avonbridge filly Falcon Six is related to plenty of winners, whilst stablemate Golden Ratio is out of a Coronation Stakes winner. Starlight Muse is the other to mention as Ed McMahon can ready a newcomer. However there's nothing special about her pedigree and so we will plump instead for Lockantanks.
