Verdict

Everyone loves a TRANSVESTITE and he is preferred to Admirable Duque and Kames Park. Although his three hurdling efforts over the winter were not too promising, the selection has the flat form in the book to play a major hand. Three months ago he was successful over this course and distance and off this new mark of 75 he still looks competitive. Profit's Reality is very consistent and his good recent Southwell form makes him a major player if translating it to this surface; George Baker looks an interesting jockey booking. Aureate needs a market check on this first start for a new yard off a mark of 74, Rocky's Pride is well-bred but needs to improve, whilst Admirable Duque is a bit hit-and-miss but he runs this track well and isn't badly handicapped on old form. Kames Park completes the line-up and has been holding his form well over a variety of trips. The handicapper hasn't gone overboard and with the step back up in trip in his favour he is not to be ignored. An open race, but preference is for Transvestite.
