Verdict
None of these two-year-olds have run over this far before but WILD THUNDER was narrowly beaten over a mile at Doncaster on his handicap debut. Rated 90, Richard Hannon’s colt sets a good standard back in novice company and is the one to beat. Glenties made a promising debut when going close at Newcastle and is preferred to Pot Of Paint and Looktothelight of the others with racecourse experience. Of the newcomers, Emissary is a half-brother to Derby winner Workforce and Perfect Arch is out of a winner over 1m2f,though both will need to be above average to get the better of the selection.
