Verdict
Johnston's Diamond put up an improved performance to make virtually all of the running at Southwell last time, and is worth following to score again off just a 3lbs higher mark. Gay Breeze's form has deteriorated over the last twelve months but as a result of that he comes back from a short break on what may be a lenient mark and is one to keep a close eye on. Redoubtable came back from a lay-off with an encouraging run at Southwell on Saturday, where he ran better than the bare form suggests and he could go well at a decent price here. The consistent Czar Wars and Geronimo are others to consider.
