In depth
Verdict
Just Wiz can land a moderate claimer at the expense of Mandoob and Royal Prodigy. Nick Littmoden's eight-year-old was taken off his feet behind prolific scorer Fall In Line at Lingfield nine days ago, finishing sixth of 15 in that class D handicap, but is more than adept at this level and should find the ease in grade a big help. He is an honest sort whose last five career victories have come here at Wolverhampton, and he looks sure to go well. On a line through Fall In Line, Mandoob has a pretty similar chance to the selection, but Jean-Pierre Guillambert rode both of them last time and the fact that he is aboard Just Wiz helps sway us towards the latter as his claim should help. Royal Prodigy won three out of his last four races at the end of 2003, including over hurdles, but was outpaced in a poor race on the level last month and may suffer the same fate here. All in all, it is not a contest to get heavily involved in, but a small interest in Just Wiz may pay off.
