        Verdict

        Efforetta, Mister Completely and Rare Coincidence are three against the field in a competitive opener and the vote is given to Efforetta. The selection has won his last two races in good style and won with a little in hand when beating Salut Saint Cloud last time out, granted he has a penalty for that win but he looks a progressive type and is taken to defy the handicapper. Mister Completely rates the main danger on his best form but he disappointed for no apparent reason last time out so he can not be put forward with any confidence. Rare Coincidence is another worthy of respect but he has yet to win over this trip and he looks opposable on that basis. Blue Hills loves it round here and could go well at a price but he looks weighted up to his best. Of the remainder Madiba is from a yard in form and could go well at a price but for the winner we return to Efforetta.
