        Verdict

        More than one or two old friends on view and we are to chance Abounding at the principal expense of Squirtle and Adage. Abounding returns to the artificial surfaces after a flop on turf at Sandown and had ran an interesting race at Lingfield the time previously. James Doyle appears to get on well with her and she should be a decent price. Squirtle won on the bit at Thirsk and despite being difficult to win with, she has to have a fair chance of a follow up. Adage probably needs further than this these days but the handicapper is at least loosening his grip. Swords put up his best effort for ages at Lingfield and would be a factor if this race is ran at a strong pace. Best Selection experiences Dunstall Park for the first time. Micky Hammond's horses have been running well of late so Campli is one for the each-way backers to give due consideration to. A poor race in anyone's imagination and with many of these possessing obvious questions to answer, Abounding can answer the call.
