        Verdict

        Radius has something to prove after running 'flat' last time out, so preference is given to Total Impact on this occasion. With Keelings Donabate another to keep tabs on in the betting market. The last named is open to improvement and, after a most encouraging effort last time, he looks as if he can be found a race before too long. He needs this run a handicap mark, but would not be unduly punished if he ran a big race in this company. Radius, who ran off 82 when he was a disappointing favourite at Lingfield, last month, sets the standard as far as the official figures stand at this stage. However, he looks harshly treated at the moment and the jury is out as far as he is concerned. It would not be surprising to see him bounce back, but he would make limited appeal at prohibitive odds. therefore, it may be worth chancing Total Impact, who ran a blinder on his reappearance and, with this step up in trip in his favour, the son of Pivotal looks a worthy option in a race that may well be run to suit his style.
