Sabaag can make make up for lost time to make a winning debut, with Rio Branco and Mrs Brown taken to give him a bit of a race. David Loder saddled his first runners from his new base at Egerton Stud on Wednesday, Dawn Piper and Diamond Way, and both won, so Sabbaag will be fully expected to oblige here. A Derby entry, the son of Mark Of Esteem had been catching the eye on the Limekilns before meeting with a setback, and has been working very well of late. Well enough in fact to suggest that he will be a short price here, but if reports are correct then he should not be opposed. Rio Branco shaped well enough on her debut at Doncaster and can pay to follow in the spring, while Mrs Brown maybe best watched until she gets a handicap mark, given her trainer's patience. All in all, this is best left to Sabbaag to give David Loder another winner.
