Bridge of Fermoy has the beating of the John Hills-trained Ledgerwood on their running here last month and Gay Kelleway's colt is taken to come out on top again, with Mujahope looking the best of the rest. The selection has been running consistently well since winning that race here last month and is taken to resume winning ways under George Baker, who has been on board in all three of his recent successes. Coole Dodger would have claims on the form shown when chasing home the selection at Kempton in January but has disappointed since then so looks best watched. Bill Turner's Secret Meaning, a winner at Southwell in a seller two starts ago was well held in the same grade at Folkestone recently and she is hard to recommend on that evidence. Marco Botti's Mujahope has every chance on official BHA ratings but he has yet to win a race and a safer option looks to be Bridge of Fermoy.
