Blinis is less exposed than most and gets the nod over Granary Girl and Lowicz in a race that struggles to be of ordinary quality. Lowicz put in an improved performance last time and has sound place claims if repeating the effort today. However, she looks a far from straightforward ride and cannot be relied upon to dish out a repeat dose. Granary Girl has plenty of experience of the track and is in the right grade for her to make her mark. Needless to say, her career record underlines how hard it has been for her connections to find the right opening and she needs everything to drop just right to make her thirteenth visit to a racecourse a lucky one. Therefore, we take a chance with Blinis, who fared well in a better race than this at Yarmouth last week. The son of Danehill Dancer cost 47,000 Guineas as foal but remained unraced last year. However, he has already had three starts this season - showing modest progression on each occasion. Blinis will not need to find much more to hold this lot at bay.
