Verdict

The pin comes down on Pagan Storm in dreadful contest, where only the horses themselves can predict what sort of mood they will be in. Fayr Firenze and Sabo Prince can give the selection the most to think about. Sabo Prince has course and distance form to his name and has shaped as if he can win a race of this nature. He is lightly raced and has one of the better jockeys in Rory Moore booked for the ride. Travis Block, who partners Fayr Firenze, has also been in good form in the saddle since he ended his barren spell in March. Three winners in the last fortnight have boosted his confidence and he looks to have a willing partner as he bids to extend the run this afternoon. However, Pagan Storm gets on very well with Kristen Stubbs and the partnership look to have plenty in their favour today. The course and distance is not a problem for Pagan Storm and he finally looks to have been found a weak enough contest for him to be able to add to his tally.
