soon close up in 4th, led over 1f out, ran on well

      In depth

      Verdict

GLEN LASS looks the pick at the weights and she can see off Tuscan King. Jeff Pearce's filly was successful last time out in claiming grade when seeing off Mary Helen by a length. A previous second to Bubbly Braveheart looks solid form and receiving over a stone from Tuscan King she looks worth siding with. That runner was six lengths behind her last time out and is slightly worse off at today¿s weights. Crushing drops in grade today and needs a market check for a yard whose horses are in fair form. James Barrymore has a big chance at these weights but the mount of Eddie Ahern has become disappointing; he is winless in six and needs to improve for the drop in grade. Pie Poudre looks very modest, and with nothing else bar Aegean Destiny and Hubble Space making any modicum of appeal, it is Glen Lass who is taken to prosper.
