Verdict

Celestial Bay is consistent enough but has never run beyond 1m4f and is 8lb higher than last month's Lingfield victory, though her rider's claim will help. The lightly-raced Archipeligo went up 6lb for last month's victory over 1m1f here but it didn't prevent a follow-up when tackling an extra three furlongs. He finished powerfully that time so today's longer trip should suit and he'll make a bold bid for a hat-trick. However, a line through Oratorio's Joy, who has finished runner-up to him and beaten URBAN CASTLE narrowly recently, suggests the latter is well in and he's handed the vote on just his fourth start. Bushel has only won on Turf and his best all-weather run came at Southwell.
