        Verdict

        A very competitive handicap here and many have chances on their best form but we will stick with Bold Ewar. The gelding from the Clive Britain yard is still well in on his best form despite being raised for his latest win when defeating Achilles Wings. That rival is better off at the weights but we think Bold Ewar will confirm his superiority over him. Eagles Landing was third in the same race and is another that has place claims if he reproduces that effort. Broughton Knows was unlucky in running last time out when fourth, and if he gets a clear run here this hold-up performer would have definite place claims. Of the remainder Penalta has dropped to a handy mark and is worth a cautionary look in the market. Parlight is from a yard in top form and is another that could go well at a big price in a wide open affair.
