Verdict
A total of 13 line up in the finale but one will get lucky here, with the main contenders being Noble Locks, On The Trail, Bint Royal and Tree Roofer, with the latter taken to oblige. Nick Littmoden's charge was fancied here on his last start and came close to losing his maiden tag with a gritty run. He tried to make all but was worn down by Gilded Cove close home. The four-year-old is not badly treated and is expected to appreciate the step up in trip. Noble Locks and On The Trail are very consistent and like Bint Royal are course and distance scorers. It would not be a surprise if any of that trio were to prevail, but we feel that Tree Roofer represents the value.
