        Verdict

        Another maximum field of 13 assemble in this fillies' handicap, with recent winners Phoebe Buffay and Crimson Dancer taken to battle out the finish ahead of Titian Lass. Phoebe Buffay came good here in apprentice company a week ago and is still very well weighted considering that she managed to score off a mark of 74 on the sand three years ago. She will start creeping back up the weights but does not receive a penalty here and should make a bold bid to follow up. Her main rival Crimson Dancer had three runs on turf, and indeed made her debut at York behind the useful Rocket Ship, but did not show any encouragement. It was a different story however when put on the sand here last time as she hacked up over this trip. She will go close but just lacks the experience of Phoebe Buffay who gets the vote.
