If Timeless Dream takes up this engagement instead of going to Newbury he has to be respected after victory last time out however we've are most taken with the consistent good form, for this level, of MILNE BAY, who could finally get in front at the expense of Obe Brave. Runner up off this mark on each of his last two runs the pick perhaps would have won if it had been over this trip instead of an extra furlong. A winner here in the past the track hold's no mysteries and his recent efforts are some of the best form on display here. Obe Brave isn't the force he once was but showed he still can win races by taking victory over a slightly longer trip last time. These days he may find things happening too quickly over this distance but he should be appearing on the premises late on. Island Legend lost his maiden's tag here over the minimum trip but in two starts since has struggled in this company and might be best watched again so in another tight call Milne Bay could make consistency count.
