Verdict
Megabond gets the tentative vote in this competitive seller with La Puce and Commander Bond rated as the main dangers. The selection won well in claiming grade a couple of runs ago before being outclassed in a better race than this last time. If he can reproduce his winning effort when he beat Nicholas Nickleby at Carlisle then he should take plenty of beating. La Puce is another eased in grade after being well beaten in a handicap last time, but the suspicion is he is slightly better over further and for that reason he is opposed on this occasion. Commander Bond would have chances on his best form but he has been disappointing of late, although his trainer Bryan Smart used to train our selection so he will know what's required to win this. Two of Clubs would have chances on his best form and the drop back to selling grade is sure to suit, but for the winner we return to Megabond.
