Verdict
Mel's Moment looks the one to beat here and is put forward as our selection with Major Faux Pas and Chutney Mary rated as the main dangers. Mel's Moment unseated his rider at Lingfield last time but a reproduction of his previous effort at Newmarket behind Pevensey would give him a real chance to get his head in front here. He remains lightly-raced and with further improvement likely he gets the percentage call. Major Faux Pas is a well-bred sort from the Jamie Osborne yard but his newcomers normally need the run and he may be best watched on his debut. Chutney Mary may well try to run the finish out of the rest of them from the front, and her latest effort at Catterick when sixth behind Hansomelle would certainly give her solid each-way claims here. Belly Dancer has shown a fair level of form and looks the best of the remainder, but for the winner we return to the progressive Mel's Moment.
