Verdict
Headland gets the vote here ahead of Legalis and Muqtadi. The best of the selection's form makes him stand out in this company and, if close to the top of his game, this course and distance winner must hold a very good chance. Dancing King is the only other course and distance winner in the race, but the selection's overall form is much better. Legalis is a course winner but probably has to improve by a few pounds if Headland is anywhere near on top of his game. In a similar vein, Muqtadi, who certainly has place claims, will need to see the selection underperform to get the better of things. Travel Tardia has regressed markedly in the last two years while the others look a pretty ordinary lot based on recent efforts, although Lady Xanthia might improve on what she has so far shown as she is lightly raced. Overall, though, this will not take a lot of winning and Headland ought to go close.
