Verdict
With none of those to have raced so far having impresses, it could be that Strudel will make a winning debut over the likes of Tagula Bay, Bens Georgie and Lady Hopeful. Most of these have become very exposed already, but Tagula Bay has been placed on two of her last three outings so has place prospects. Bens Georgie flopped badly at Leicester last time, but had earlier chased home Banjo Patterson at Windsor. He was no doubt flattered by his proximity to the winner though and cannot be backed with any confidence. Lady Hopeful has been found wanting since being switched to sprinting, and is another best watched, and really, Sir Mark Prescott, who has only introduced a handful of older horses this term, looks to have found a suitable opportunity for Strudel, a daughter of Spectrum, to make a winning bow.
