Verdict

Nine Iron ended last season with a victory over a shorter trip here but course winner Bain's Pass didn't appear to get home over today's distance at Beverley last week. Rainford Glory threw in a bad one last time having won at Kempton before that and Lucky Mountain's recent placed efforts at Southwell are misleading as he was beaten out of sight on both occasions. It would be no surprise to see World Map improve on her handicap debut but NO TRUTH also has plenty of scope. She landed a maiden over track and trip on her reappearance and Charlie Hills' filly gets the nod to follow up in this.
