      Verdict

      Almost Gemini was well backed on his first start for Don Cantillon and got up by a neck over track and trip. He's open to further progress but has been raised 9lb and JEZZA looks a safer proposition. Karen George's charge has a couple of lengths to find with Easydoesit on latest running over 1m6f here but, unlike the latter, he's a course and distance winner and is taken to come out best on this occasion. Calculating scored at Southwell last month but has his own thoughts about the game these days and Barnacle makes more appeal off his current mark.
