Not much form to go on in this fillies' maiden but after a promising first run we like the well-bred BAKONGO at the expense of the progressive Al Shababiya and standard setting Indian Valley. Related to plenty of winners up to about this trip the pick finished with some aplomb to nearly grab bronze on her debut run. She was an eye-catcher that day and with progression expected she should be the one to catch if taking to the surface. Al Shababiya improved in two runs as a juvenile and with the second coming here when finding just the one too good she should be in the mix again assuming she's trained on. Indian Valley is just about the benchmark after her first two runs but has a little to prove after a step backwards on her final start while based on the ratings Nadinska doesn't have much to find but her form has been a little inconsistent. It's a race were a few of these could be anything but we'll take Bakongo to improve on her second start to score.
