        Verdict

        A large field goes to post for this seller but on closer inspection not many can be given a serious chance of winning and the main protagonists appear to be Armentieres, Princess Ismene and Derriche and we will take a chance on Armentieres. James Eustace's charge showed a modicum of ability in a better race on his debut when sixth behind Glebe Garden. He is sure to have learnt from the experience and given normal improvement and with the step down in grade sure to suit he will be hard to beat. Princess Ismene rates the main danger on her latest second behind Dubian Duel and if she acts on the surface she will not be far away. Derriche is another dropping into this grade for the first time and if he improves on his latest effort when fifth behind Ticker Tape he will not be far away. Of the remainder Delta Lady has had plenty of chances in similar grade so we are happy to side with Armentieres
