Gilded Cove, After The Show and Wicked Uncle are the three for the shortlist here and Gilded Cove gets the vote. Wicked Uncle though has a record to respect as he has won here two outings ago and was beaten less then a length on a return visit last time. He has his limitations but will be thereabouts. Having been highly tried at some of the top tracks, the appropriately named After The Show is another who looks sure to go well. He won well at Southwell two outings ago and was a close second last time. He is in good heart and it will take a good one to beat him. Gilded Cove is the one to beat though. He has finished out of the first four only once in the last eight starts and his win here last time was his second course success of the year. Gilded Cove is running at the top of his form just now and although this is competitive, Gilded Cove gets the nod.
