Verdict

This handicap can go the way of COMPTON CLASSIC who is taken to get the better of Figaro Flyer and Music Box Express. Jim Boyle's seven-year-old was only narrowly beaten by Street Power at Lingfield last time and that form reads well in the context of this race. If he can run up to that level again then he should take all the beating. Figaro Flyer has been showing a decent level of consistency of late but he may just be a little high in the weights. He should run his race, but we expect him to find at least one too good. Music Box Express is interesting as he shaped with promise on his return from a break last time and if he can build on that then he would be capable of getting competitive. Count Ceprano is dropped in trip which will not be a problem, but he has had a heavy schedule and he may benefit from a break. In an open event, Compton Classic is the selection.
