Verdict
Gates Pass has made the frame in six of seven previous starts but has never raced over a trip this short and looks vulnerable to less-exposed types. Dawn Delight made all to beat a subsequent winner over 6f at Newcastle and should make a bold bid to defy his penalty if proving as effective over this trip but TIGER EYE, a well-bred daughter of Frankel who is a sister to an all-weather winner, can recoup losses suffered when she was just denied on her debut over track and trip. Minoria stayed on well to beat Secret Ace, who runs earlier on the card, at Lingfield but Lope De Loop looks to be titling at windmills.
