Verdict
PRIDE’S GOLD got outpaced when last of five behind Castle Hill Cassie over 7f here in November but she was staying on in the closing stages and only beaten a couple of lengths. Now 9lb better off, Simon Crisford’s filly can take her revenge. Peak Princess has done all of her winning over shorter trips but was successful the last time she ran in a handicap. This Girl gives the impression she may be better over a bit further while Lingfield scorer Lady Alavesa faces a very stiff task at the weights and Ventura Blues was a beaten favourite in lesser company at Lingfield earlier this month.
