        Verdict

A wide open contest gets proceedings underway but many would have chances on their best form and the principals look to be Maggie's Pet, Largs, Miskina and Dasar and the confident vote goes to Maggie's Pet. The selection won well at this track last time out when defeating Crusoe and with the drop in trip not likely to prove a problem she will be hard to beat under conditions that suit. Largs rates the main danger on her latest third behind Roman Empire but she is still a maiden so can not be backed with any confidence. Miskina is another that could go well she is another that is dropping in trip but she is one of the least exposed in the field and is from a yard in form so is worth noting in the market. Of the remainder Dasar was just beaten a short head by Gillys General last time and is another with place claims but her form to does not look as solid as the selection. Maggie's Pet.
