      Verdict

      Rated 10lb higher at this time last year, FRONTIER FIGHTER can still boast a handicap mark of 93 and will not have to run anywhere near that to take care of today's rivals. Raging Bear has always shown a tendency to dwell in his races but refused to even start at Doncaster last time while Eloquence finished tailed off on his comeback at Bath. A winner in Germany, Mertesacker was pulled up over hurdles last month and Medal Of Valour suffered the same fate at Taunton recently but was placed in a seller here before that when finishing ahead of Prohibition.
