In depth

Verdict

Focail Mear has been well beaten since winning here last month with Sixties Queen, Just Five and PIPERS PIPING behind. But the latter re-opposes on better terms and may come out best this time having gone close on a couple of occasions subsequently. The veteran Mr Chocolate Drop popped-up at 40/1 in an apprentice race here on Monday and escapes a penalty while another old-timer in John Potts has recorded all eight wins to date at this venue and is back on a winning mark.
