In depth

Verdict

It took Bold Max 24 starts to open his account so he doesn't make much appeal under a penalty and another chance goes to FRANK THE BARBER. Beaten only a head over track and trip last week, he should go close again in this similar company. Dream Sika also has a shout having finished a close-up third here at the start of the month and makes more appeal than Ecliptic Sunrise, still without a win in 18 attempts. New Decade has tumbled down the weights but remains in woeful form and the less exposed Lucky Clover makes more appeal.
