      Verdict

      DOC SPORTELLO failed to prevent Unforgiving Minute from landing a hat-trick in a claimer at Lingfield recently. But he won over today’s minimum trip at Southwell before that and should have the measure of these. The three-year-old Golden Melody has a shout at the weights if running up to her mark though hasn’t raced since October and has switched yards subsequently while Miss Thoughtful has a chance on these terms racing over 5f for the first time after placing at Chelmsford. Steelriver and Emirati Dirham have more to find but still make more appeal than It Must Be Faith and Celerity.
