Verdict
Bienheureux is a consistent performer and should again be thereabouts but Gay Kelleway's gelding may be a shade high in the weights at present and preference is for Easibet Dot Net with Kirkhammerton rated the best of the rest. The selection has slipped to a very handy mark on the all-weather now and gave every indication that his turn could be just around the corner when a close third behind Rehearsed here earlier this month. A reproduction of a similar level of form may suffice for Ian Semple's gelding. Kyle of Lochalsh has failed to take to hurdles recently and has always been better on turf than the sand in the past so he may be best watched. Wester Lodge has slipped to a fair mark but has given little sign for encouragement and of more interest may be Kirkhammerton, although he is seemingly better on the Fibresand at Southwell than the Polytrack. Easibet Dot Net is undoubtedly better on turf than the sand but he has dropped to decent mark and is taken to resume winning ways over a trip that should suit ideally.
