In depth
Verdict
Strikeen should be ready for this step up to seven furlongs now and is taken to gain a deserved success at the main expense of Howards Tipple and Royal Guest. The last mentioned ran green on his debut at Haydock and should have learned from that experience so has to be considered here. Sir Mark Prescott's Alleviate gave little sign for encouragement on her first start and may do better over further once handicapped, while a market move for newcomer Cnoc Moy would have to be noted. Howards Tipple failed to handle the testing conditions at Haydock last time and should do better here but Strikeen has an obvious chance and is hard to oppose.
