In depth

Verdict

La Brigitte needs watching in the betting with the eye-shield on for the first time, however from a shortlist of Drawnfromthepast, The Tatling and BAHAMIAN LAD, it is the last-named who is preferred. The selection comes here on the back of two wins from three starts and he hasn't been hammered in the weights for his success. Jerry O' Dwyer evidently gets on well with this son of Bahamian Bounty and another big run is anticipated. Lochan Mor continues to give his all on every start and Michael Bell's Kyllachy colt rates a danger, as do Cecily (blinkered for the first time) and Princess Valerina (bounced back to form last time out but handicapper has been savage). Old boy The Tatling continues to give his all in defeat, Drawnfromthepast looks well-handicapped but has a little to find with the selection on their Kempton run, whilst Orpindeed has been in good form in some competitive claimers and the cheek-pieces are re-applied. An open, but quality sprint handicap, and it is Bahamian Lad who is nominated.
