Verdict

LIVING IT LARGE showed plenty of determination to win last time and also plenty of speed so this drop to five furlongs shouldn't be a problem. He is preferred to Night Trade, Flaxen Lake and Blue Neptune. Roger Fisher's son of Bertolini made all the running when fending off all challengers at Ayr last time out. A penalty for that win makes life tougher however he is on the upgrade and has a good pitch to work from. Night Trade is a consistent filly who has already proven that she can carry weight to victory, Sovereign Secure drops back in trip for this return to England, whilst Maldon Prom and Flaxen Lake have both shaped as if they would do better now encountering nursery company. I'malwaysright and Wanchai Whisper both come here on the back of wins but this looks a tougher race for both, whilst Blue Neptune was well-backed before his Kempton success and this speedily-bred individual may have the pace to counter his poor draw this evening. Plenty of in-form horses here, and it is the recent winner Living It Large who we return to as the selection.
